CARTRIDGE TYPE DUST COLLECTORS ::
A dust collector is a devise that separates suspended
particulars from gas stream to change direction while
the particles, because of their inertia, tend to
continue in their original direction and be separated
from the gas.
The collection efficiency of a collector depends upon
the motion of the gas stream and the physical properties
of suspended particulates.
Cartridge type dust collectors generally consist of
following sections.
-
Inlet section
-
Dust plenum, Clean air plenum & cleaning mechanism
-
Suction unit
The cartridge pulse-jet type dust collectors are built
as combination of a pre-separation twin cyclone zone for
heavy dust particles with cartridge filtering unit
located in the housing as fine filters for minute
particle sizes.
Cartridge Filter units are equipped with automated
compressed air pulse cleaning system & are designed for
continuous operation for ON-LINE pulse cleaning.
The crude gas passes through the pleated cartridge
filter element from outside to inside. Thereby the dust
particles are collected on outer side of filter surface
and slide down to be collected in the bottom dust bin.
The filter cartridge cleaning is carried out fully
automatically by means of short pulses of compressed air
during the filtering process. As a result there is a
cyclic rise & fall of the pressure difference between
the crude and clean gas side to maintain low flow
variation.
Collected dust from Bottom dust bin should be
periodically removed manually. The frequency of removal
of this dust can be decided from analyzing the filling
time of the dust bin & regular usage of the Dust
collector.

:: BAG FILTERS ::
The bag filter
is essentially a system containing a filter fabric of some
kind which removes the dust and particulate from a gas
stream. The cleaned gas then can be vented to the
atmosphere. The dust may be a product such as carbon
black, or a by product such as flyash from a boiler
burning coal. When dust is a by product, the dust can be
recycled into the process, as in the case where the dust
is mostly unburned coal.
Fabric filter dust collectors, are commonly referred to as
baghouses, are among the oldest and most widely applied
particulate emission control devices. The universally
employed principal of operation, simply stated, is the
removal of dust from dust-laden gas by passing the gas
through a filtration medium normally a fabric. The clean
air emerges from one side of the medium while the dust is
collected on to bottom.
Reverse pulsejet mechanism of compressed air facilities
continuous cyclic cleaning of bag dust cake.
Intelligent DP Sensed cleaning is also offered where DP
Switch is kept to trigger comp. air pulsing only when cake
build-up increases DP on bag.

TUFF® SERIES DUST COLLECTOR FOR DRY DUST ::
Cartridge Type Pulse Jet Dust Collector (TUFF® Series)
Introduction
Techflow’s unitary type dust collector can extract nearly all types of dust and chips. In most cases the dust is captured directly through a suitable outlet on the processing machine and routed through an extraction hose or pipe to the dust collector. If the machine has no connection port than the extraction port is designed by the Techflow Engineers with the help of suitable capturing hoods which ultimately results in clean work environment. Cleaning efficiency of these units is 99.9% over 1 micron dust particle size
Application
Carbon industry, chemical industry, woodworking, Plastic processing, Graphite processing, metal working, SAW Pipes MFG, Pharma Industry, foundries, cement, glass, polishing, buffing, grinding, and Many Others....
|
|
Easy operation and Maintenance
Techflow’s unitary dust extraction units are easy and maintenance friendly. These models are equipped with online pulse jet cleaning system, U-Tube manometer, 1 micron filter cartridges, programmable timer, Suitable exhauster and attached with the dust bin/drawer. Control panel and solid state sequential timers are designed for safe and fail safe operations.

TUFF® Series Bag Type Manual Shaker/ Motorized shaker ::
|
Introduction
Manual shaker is one of the most cost effective dust collector model. The dust filled air stream passes through fabric bags that filter the dust particles. Bags are made of different material such as Non woven polyester etc.. The bags are cleaned manually by giving a manual shaker mechanism. The dust from the bags is collected in the bin below the hopper, which has to be cleaned periodically.
Motorised Shaker: are used in processes where non-cleanable filters become an expensive option due to large dust content. It consists of bags with an inlet for dusty air stream at the bottom. The bags are suspended from a rope for improved agitation and fixed at the bottom. Dust filled air enters the bag, passes through the filter and collects on the inside walls of the bag.
Applications
Ceramic, Plastic, Pulp & Paper, Rock and related products, woodworking, Bin ventilation, grinding, Packaging, Polishing, sanding, Sawing and many more..
