Rotary Drum Dryer

It is useful for continuous drum drying or roasting of granular free flowing materials with 5 to 10 % initial moisture.
The technology employs oil or gas fired automatic burners to generate heat and indirect heating is achieved on rotating drum. The jacket prevents heat loss and fuel as passes through exhaust fan.

The drum dryer has acquired a unique place among other dryers because it can dry products where other dryers failed to give satisfactory result.

The burners provide indirect heading on outside of rotating drum. Inside of drum is designed to progress the product slowing but with very good increased heating surface. The released moisture travels to farther end of discharge plenum for exhaust to atmosphere.

The drum dryer is an indirect dryer. Unlike direct drying methods, where hot air is used to evaporate the product moisture, the drum dryer needs no dust recovery.
